Exchange Workshop: Journalists & Photojournalists in Paris and Berlin in November

RUIDO Photo, with the support of Journalismfund Europe, Late, Internazionale, IJNET and Survival International, is launching a call for applications for an exchange workshop.

BE PART OF A BROADER NETWORK

This project, supported mainly by Journalismfund Europe, involves six workshops: five in-person training and networking sessions held in five cities: Ferrara (Italy), Berlin (Germany), Paris (France), Madrid and Barcelona (Spain). In addition, there will be an online training session with all the participants.

Participants will each receive a remuneration of €100 for their active contributions. The workshop’s outcomes will include a recorded summary of the key discussions, as well as a handbook of essential tips and tools for journalists.

Berlin: Friday November 8th / 5.30 PM / At Survival International Germany Greifswalder Str. 4, 10405.

Paris: Tuesday November 12th / 5.30 PM / At Survival International France: 18 Rue Ernest et Henri Rousselle, 75013.

APPLICATIONS DUE BEFORE November 1st, 1 PM CET

Each session involves five selected investigative journalists and five selected photojournalists. The workshops aim to enhance visual skills for investigative journalists and investigative skills for photojournalists in Europe, focusing on environmental coverage.

During the workshop, participants will be asked to formulate a pitch for a potential investigative project, as well as to actively share know-how and experience. As compensation for their contributions, each participant will receive a payment of 100 euros upon the workshop’s completion.

The outcome will be a video highlighting the discussions from each session, a manual with tips and tools for investigative journalists and photojournalists.
